Simple Electronic Recycling is dedicated to upholding the values of Refurbishing, Rebuilding, and Recycling the old, damaged, unwanted, and no-longer-needed electronics in the community. We accept drop-offs at our location, 3473 Cherokee Street NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144, and we also schedule free pick-ups to travel to you, whether you’re a local resident of the community looking to remove electronic items from your homes, storage units, sheds and other locations, or running a business, church, club, school, outreach, organization of any kind.
Our team of technicians examines and categorizes the devices that are donated to SER, and from there, each device either goes to be rebuilt and refurbished into a functioning, usable device that goes back into the community, or is used for parts to repair other existing devices from local community members needing repairs. Our goal is to keep electronics that can still serve the community in various ways, out of the landfill, so give us a call before tossing out those old devices, and help us continue to serve the community one device at a time!
Internship
Hey interns–practice makes perfect, right? What better way to practice your soldering, programming, building and engineering skills, than having a device you don’t have to worry about using for your next class? At Simple Electronic Recycling, part of our outreach includes providing tech interns and students with low-cost devices to literally experiment on, allowing students to hone their career-building skills without the pressure of ruining a brand-new, personally-needed device. It’s yet another way that the donated electronics from the community can skip the trash bins and landfills, and instead land in the hands of those who can make use of them in a constructive, productive manner. Schedule Pickup
If you would like to schedule a pickup please call our office Monday - Friday 9 A.M. to 4 P.M. at 470-232-1391. Please be prepared to provide the size of the load and location of pickup. You will have to be present during the pickup to sign a release form.
